I'm Jason, I worked in retail for about 10 years before getting the heck out (don't be jealous). I currently work as a jail guard, which is a much more rewarding, if somewhat slightly more disgusting job (only slightly). I joined because I miss having people to talk too about how horrible customers are or can be, which is a bit sad now that I think about it. I also like to hear how horrible other people's experiences are; I'm slightly sadistic.

In the jail, if someone pisses me off, they wind up having a very bad day. I hated every minute of working retail; I’ve loved every minute of being a jail guard.
