My name is Kytra and I guess you could say I was "born" into retail. My mom started her own handmade children's clothes line not long after I was born. In my 26 years I've worked in her and my grandmother's gift stores and helped out at the various craft fairs we frequent.
Because she works in retail my mother taught me to always be polite when you're doing business with anyone.
It's helped out a lot.
I own my own store now. I started out making handmade quilts and now I sell childrens toys as well. I have all kinds of stories from my family's business and will be posting them as soon as I get then typed up coherently.
