    Greetings from Adelaide (AUS)

    Hi people

    I work at an unnamed "Discount department store" here in Australia, sort of halfway between "Wal-Mart" and Target, or K-Mart.

    I work in the heart of "Bogan" country here so I see lots of people without shoes... or shirts, and people with dog's in their bags and I work on occasion in Home Entertainment so I've got my fair share of stories... I fact I was accused of poking my tongue out at a customer the other day... so here I am.

    Hope you'll have me.

    I'm fond of customers attempting to quote laws at me because I'm a law student....

        That breaks the dress code at my work... yay!

        Well it's nice to be welcomed.

        It's hell at work at the moment, they took our "Quantity" Button off the registers at work so everything has to be scanned by hand... people have been buying bulk, coke, books and chocolate today... oh joy.
        and I had a customer who waited until the EFTPOS was finishing up to bring up a wrong price... oh and about 25 people payed for purchases less than $10 with $50 notes.

        *goes back to atempting to remove the tag*

          Why is everyone from Radelaide these days???

          Doesn't it make it difficult for your customers to find you in the phone book if the store doesn't have a name??

          Surely in bogan country they'd be in uggies?? And trackies, and t-shirts with the smokes in the sleeve...."Awww mah gawd...."
