This is how I spent the afternoon portion of my One Day Off this week, reading this forum, nodding and frowning and giggling and fist-pumping. So the inevitable result is I figured I should sign up!
(Well not so much with the fist-pumping.)
I am a retail-lifer fast approaching middle age, the masochistic part of me actually enjoys it but I can't quite remember why.
I work in a grocery store in the bakery and deli departments.
I have run a record store, worked in a dry-cleaners, worked in a liquor store (which has its own special brand of suckage) and tried with little pleasure to move over to an office environment so back to this stuff I went.
Er, um, that's pretty much it. I have enjoyed reading these threads today, don't know if I'll have much to add but here I am!
