Howz'it goin?
Hey everybody. I'm Eric. I came over from Retail-Sucks.com where I have posted a lot of stories there, but found this site while bored at work.
I can't believe some of the stuff you guys have gone through, but I'm glad there are outlets like this site to vent. I don't work with customers anymore, as I edit web-based tutorials, but I can relate to working in customer service. I worked at a grocery store for 8 years, worked a satellite call center for 4 years, in a music store for 3 and as a tech rep for a national vitamin store for 2.
I did some cartoons when I worked for the satellite company. A lot of them involve my coworker Gary, who would throw his headset on his desk when he got really irritated with a customer. I'm not posting this to generate traffic to retail-sucks.com or to help migrate subscribers to this site, but here's the link:
