I've read this site for a very long time, but never took the extra step to actually register and post, so here goes. I'll keep this vague a bit so work nazi's dont hunt me down.
I've been part of Microsoft's Customer Service team for almost 9 years now, and survived two major layoffs, where most of the company's CSRs were outsourced to Canada, the Philippines, and India. I currently work on a team that handles expensive, high-end accounts that suffer business-ending problems (i.e. Met Life's brokerage network crashes, or the White House's email server goes down), so most of the customers I deal with now fortunately do not fall into the Sucky Customer category. But...man...I have plenty of horror stories about the years BEFORE I got to this team.
Looking forward to reading all of yours and sharing some of mine!
