  • Quick summation of the past two days

Tuesday: Mis-read my wall calendar and not show up for my shift. By the time I get the message my shift is half over so ... no point in going in at that point.

What happened? Well ... I copy my shifts from the schedule at work into my little purse calendar. Then I transfer the shifts to my BIG wall calendar at home, that is in the hallway so there's no way I won't see it.

Ha ha ... but in this case I had put my hours into my little purse calendar and then forgot to transfer them to the wall calendar. So when I looked at the wall calendar, what I was seeing was ... last week's schedule. And I didn't realize it.

Wednesday: Look at purse calendar and go in to work. Only to learn that this time I had mis-copied it into the purse calendar and this shift was for tomorrow.

    What a chaotic mess.
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

Can you take a picture of your schedule? I know for sure I would do this at some point given how bad with numbers I am.

A picture sounds like a really good idea if your schedule is irregular.
