So I punched in yesterday (Sunday) and did my four-hour shift.
Four hours later, I went to punch out ...
... and I could not, for the life of me, remember my employee number.

I ended up simply writing my "quit" time on the paper that we normally use to keep track of people going home early or staying late.
I was positive my employee number was written in a tiny notebook that I had taken home and left there.
It might have been ... but it's not in there now.
Embarrassing though it is, I'm going to have to call the store (probably the day before my next shift) and ask somebody to look up the damn thing for me.
And then add it to the memos on my cellphone.
AND put it somewhere else (my work locker, for example) just in case the phone goes *poof*.
