Nothing pleases me more than when customers, unintentionally, make me laugh (internally of course, no need to be rude ).
Me: What would you like?
Customer: (studying the salad meal board intently) Ummmm....I might have, no wait...do you get chips with the "Fish, Chips and Salad"?
Me: (wondering how she can have read that off the board word for word and not know the answer) Yes, you get chips.
Customer: Ok, I'll have that and blah blah blah blah blah blah. So I get chips with the fish chips and salad, yeah?
Yes dear, that why we wrote it on the board like that.
Most common question is...
"How many chips do you get for $3?"
Ok, so it's obvious what they want to know, right? They want to know how many people it will feed. But every time I hear that I want to answer "Ummm...about 75" or "Wait, let me count!".
