Full moon yesterday morning; Odd question

This happened yesterday afternoon.

Guy drives up to the Visitor parking booth window.

I open the window, & the first thing he says is "are you closed?"

I turn around, & I see the open sign.

Nope, we are not closed.

I tell him about the $5.00 parking fee & where to pay at.

He then says "how do I get in?"

I press the button that raises that gate.

He says "oh..you have to let me in."

Sorry, but the gate does not automatically go up when you approach it.
