To be fair, the lady had come out of hospital, but this was a definite brain burp.
Customer buys groceries.
Customer tries to pay for groceries with a debit card.
The credit function fails for some odd reason, so we try savings.
She tries to hit the credit button again, then types her PIN in.
I manage to steer her to hit the enter button.
Sale is approved (Thankfully)
I hand her husband the receipt.
We talk for a bit about hospital scares (I mentioned my visit to the ED on Monday, but said it was for "stomach troubles")
She then goes to leave and asks me "isn't there something I have to sign?"
Me: You pressed savings, so nope, your husband has the receipt.
She then left.
More funny than sucky though...
