He wanted to know if he can play a playstation 3 video disk, on a playstation 2 model, not a playstation 2 game on playstation 3 which would be a valid question.

/offtopic they had a backward compatible PS3, but stopped making them I believe. Which is a shame.

Anyhow...I can play some ps2 games on my PSP (downloadable even) .. wait..that doesn't count does it.

Maybe the answer should be "Yes, and you can play all the windows games on that Amiga also."

My husband was one of the lucky ones and got his PS3 with the backwards compatibility. Yay for me!
