Ugh, today sucked and tomorrow's gonna suck harder.
The Client's low-side network-- on which users can access the Internet-- was recently compromised by a rather pervasive malware issue. They shut down data transfers completely, and apparently on Friday (my off day) they disabled access to the network, full-stop. Only critical users can keep their access on.
This meant my shift was rather boring. I did happen to have a couple of books on hand-- I finished Stephen King's Full Dark, No Stars and made a lot more headway on House of Leaves, which I'd put off for a while.
Fortuitously, most of the users in on Sundays were in over the course of the weekend, and thus were aware of the issue, so we didn't have any calls about it.
Tomorrow, however... oy.
