  • I think I have to tread carefully..

    One of my old (old old old) supervisors from my previous area is now an area director with one of the competitors, whom I wouldn't mind working for since it's a relatively new company and they have a hell of a lot of potential.

    I've emailed with him back and fourth, I'd like to drop the hint that I'd like to work for them, but I don't want to sound to desperate.

    Luckily, he is emailing me from my home email now (I sent him an email from work, but I know that it was picked up by the email sniffers, which is why I didn't want to chat with him over work email).

    Im debating how to go with this one.

    Play it casual, mention that it sounds like a REALLY great place to work, and if he makes you an attractive offer, go for it. I don't think there's any ethical issues about bailing, but I could be wrong.
