Am I the only one that read QUILTING instead of quitting? It's been a long week.

I feel like I'm almost at that point too. There's such bullshit going on. I'm expected to be responsible for my department even though they eliminated the job last year.

My pay is finally at a point where if I switch stuff around I'd be a little more comfortable and that's hard to give up. I know what I have now but I don't want to leave simply for more money.

    Being an adult sucks.
I would have a nice day, but I have other things to do.

I'm happy for you and for XC for getting out of that company. My best advice for resume writing is this: don't list your job title nor description. Put down on a notepad allllll the things you do every day (you will probably be amazed when you see it in black and white) and then translate that to a skills-based resume rather than a position-based one. For example, I am not nor have I ever been called an account manager. I can't truthfully claim that title. But I do manage accounts all day. So my next resume incarnation will list one of my skills/activities as account management or it will say something like "manage clients' accounts by receiving information regarding specific concerns, performing payment research, creating tickets to start the process of resolution and keeping contact with clients through the process, obtaining and providing requested documents, and moving funds to satisfy invoices where necessary." I just described my whole day. I'd also add in some things about providing support for coworkers because we do answer each others' questions and do things in the system for each other (for instance I can't get into the program that unlocks machines so my coworkers will do it for me.)

"Is it hot in here to you? It's very warm, isn't it?"--Nero, probably
