We just had a customer call in to the hobbyshop. The caller ID says "Khoshneviszadeh". Is that Russian? Does anyone know?

google 'Khoshneviszadeh names'. He's right it is persian, and from experience with eastern european names I can tell you it doesn't look like one to me.
How was I supposed to know someone was slipping you Birth Control in the food I've been making for you lately?

At first, I thought it looked maybe Ukranian, but the second half just isn't right.

My second guess/shot in the dark, would be Turkish, maybe. Considering that Turkey and Persia border one another, that's probably not a bad guess.

Way too many vowels for a Ukranian name.

There is a doctor of sports medicine with the same surname whose bio stated he was born in Tehran, Iraq.

Which would be fine except that Tehran is in Iran, not Iraq...

Google is throwing up a lot of hits on Iranians, and people with Tehran Uni email addresses, so I would say its most likely an Iranian name.
