    First day at the new position...

    No laptop, my profile is still the same as before, so I do not have access to any of the systems.

    It took me 30 minutes to clean out and arrange my cube. So for the next 6 hours I did NOTHING. God was it boring and I could barely stay awake.

    Finally, my laptop came in so I could do something (install some of the applications I'll need).

    Did you spend enough time making sure everything was in the EXACT spot you wanted it, and then move everything around again?

      No worries Drag, I think all my office jobs started first day like that. That, and waiting on SBC to call back for a T1 being down are just a couple of reasons why I keep a book handy.
