  • A job so secret it can only be whispered

The people where I work know I'm not happy. We've been trying to find another job for me, but nothing seems to be happening.

[Don't bother imaging things... there's nothing dirty going on.]

Then, today, one of the bosses said, "how would you like to [whisper, whisper, whisper]?"

Me: I didn't hear what you said.
    Boss: [whisper, whisper, whisper]
Me: You want me to [whisper, whisper, whisper]?
Boss: And [whisper, whisper, whisper]. Interested?
    Me: Well, duh!

Leading, of course, to my co-workers asking, "What were you guys whispering about?"

Anyways, I've never had a job that could only be spoken about in whispers. Funny part is, if I told you what it was all about, you'd say, "WTF? You're whispering about that?" It's not even any cool secret cloak-and-dagger stuff.

    Cable is a different world.

"Did you just say whisper whisper whisper? You're supposed to actually say 'words' when you whisper in someone's ear."
    "I call murder on that!"
