For those of you that don't know, I work for my city's waste water treatment facility.
I've been in retail for most of my working life, which comes to 20 years.
So here it is.
I'll add to the list when I wake up fully.
If I were to make a post titled "How my job differs from retail," that list would be much longer, and would make many of you jealous. So I'll hold off on that one for now.
Just thought of another one: I still deal with assholes!

So here it is.
- Retail and my job are both shitty jobs. Mine is, literally. Okay, that was an easy one.
- I still deal with customers' crap, but in a much different form.
- I babysit my coworkers. Just like I've done many, many times before.
- We do have the occasional SC calling the facility. You can't escape an SC.
- The shit still rolls downhill. I haven't seen it hit the fan yet. Nor do I want to!
- Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork.
I'll add to the list when I wake up fully.
