  • No, No, No, This Can't be Happenning to Me!

    OK, I used to work for directory assistance. Last Feb., they announed to us that they would be switiching all of us to a new department. No more holidays and weekends, and no more SC's--hooray!
    We were there until Dec., when they announed that we could be there for at least this year--double hooray!
    Well, a couple days ago, they did a turnabout. They told us that there would be no more funding for our department, so we're going to have to go back to directory assistance--and SC's! I feel like it's a big nightmare!
    I know: Some of you will say, "You're lucky you have a job." Well, I suppose that's true. And maybe I'll get used to it.
    Maybe. . .
