OK, for those of you not dekyrose, you might assume working for one of the largest hotel companies on the planet would mean that you have decent equipment at the call center...
...and you would be wrong
so far this week I have
-gotten a phone where you couldn't hear the callers
-gotten on a computer where the IVR system hasn't worked
-had a keyboard crap out on me
-and most recently had a phone just randomly shut off during the middle of a call
... so I filled out a service tracker form (which by the way is reviewed by my TM) saying, among other things, that "this call center is a fucking disgrace" and "how the hell do you expect us to do this job with the crappy equipment that breaks every fucking day"
yeah, smiley may not be a reservations agent long after sending a email to corporate calling their pride and joy of north america a fucking disgrace.
