there are 3 maybe 5 in the area I live in Fox Valley Wisconsin and if Irv is where I think he is they may be trying to expand again
Yeah, I'm not far from you at all.

I'll definitely check out Festival when it opens this fall. Some of their deli items look pretty nifty.

Plus this town needs another grocery store, IMO. My choices basically are Wally World, Roundy's and a couple of smaller grocery stores on the other side of town.

Lately I've been visiting the Roundy's store more because they have SCOs.

Good grief! With that policy, your store would be a haven for SC's! I think it's time for to job hunt your way outta there.

Which chain is that, now? I'm going to go demagnetize the card I have that's expiring next week and get some free groceries because 'the machine must be broken'.

I kid! I kid! Please don't hurt me!!!
Hint: they have big logos of this company near the scoreboard at Shea Stadium and in the outfield at Fenway Park.

Matt, I haven't heard that stuff (with the return and price policies). I would imagine they'll relax the rules a bit, but they won't go that crazy. I mean, this company really knows how to pinch a penny, and I don't think they'd hamstring themselves with a dip in profits. But I think the way they do things where you are as compared to where I am are much different.

Here's my thread on this company's other part of rebranding: http://www.customerssuck.com/board/s...ad.php?t=31372

Those were "unofficial" drafts the were sent out to selected managers via email for the purposes of their input on how Corp. should proceed with new policies for the Aug. transition. It seems it was sent to the CSM's.

That explains why. The CSM in my store is as useless as a sack of wet noodles. His answer to everything is either "I don't know" or "Go tell the front end manager instead" (when the FEM tells me to go to him).

Our crazy store policy is that we have this great meat we sell thats hella tender. The policy is that if

              1) You don't like the selected piece of beef not only do you get a refund you get a brand new beef piece free PLUS a refund. NO questions asked. (EVEN if you say you got it at another store...with or without a reciept.)

              2) The same with the produce.

3)No receipt for your product you bought? No problem...lets just give you a new one.

The reasoning is they want to keep customers coming back

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING FOR A RECIEPT FOR THE PRODUCTS!!!!
NEVER underestimate the stupidity of the customer
