sadly slyt with the exception of my friends at the center that I've kept in touch with I don't get a parting email... they actually had my username blocked from the website within half an hour of me being fired (i'll give them this much, they are efficient)
Crapsies!
Funny just how fast they can move when they really want to!!
When I said "From my research", what I actually meant to say was "Made shit up" - from a thottbot thread
I think I could bear with the call center. LOL at least there you're just dealing with sucky customers over the phone. The actual on site company? I'll save my horror stories for another day. 4 years later and I still get quite rather upset thinking about it.
That is fast blocking though. Wasn't there someone on here that found out they/their friend was fired before it happened that way?
Lil Bunny, I actually have seen that happen where people find out they've been fired by coming into work and finding out their login doesn't work anymore.
I think it says something about a company when they have employment termination down to a fine art form...
If you wish to find meaning, listen to the music not the song

Or the locks on the door have been changed is how you find out the store closed down. I'm still a little irritated, though, about the one location I was servicing as an outside vendor where I showed up and saw the "Thanks for your patronage" sign on the door. Y'know, when an outside vendor has equipment on location that's going to need to be moved before the landlord stops letting you on-site, it's polite to call him and let him know when you close.

That's how my Mom found out the manager at the bird seed store was... four months (?) behind on the rent for the space. She got to work, tried to open, and couldn't, called the AM, he showed up and called the office for their space, and they told him. Mom had inventory in this guy's store from her prior job (she ran the same kind of store in MO before moving down here)... she lost the inventory because of the owner, but she had no other plans for it anyway...
