During crunch time working on software, the work weeks are around 100 hours. There are 168 hours in a week.

The typical day was from 10am to 2am. Some people just slept under their desks. Literally.

Christmas season at the Royal Mail and our chef\managers' wife had a kid. Since he was an outstanding manager I took over his shift while he went on paternity leave.

Three weeks of 8pm-2am then 7am - 1pm and given that work would pay for a cab but only paid expenses once a month (£10 cab fare on £200 a week) and some whiny bastard meant I couldn't cadge a lift with one of the trucks...

With a sleeping bag and mat sacks of potatoes are quite comfy
Lady, people aren't chocolates. D'you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling. Dr Cox - Scrubs
