I love it when campus has local employers in the area show up to get students to apply for jobs because they always bring free swag. And while it's certainly no router or Tom-Tom, it's still free stuff. There's always the typical pens, notepads, breathmints, etc. but we've gotten some cool stuff too, like mousepads, 2 GB flash drives, calendars, notebooks, frisbees, and water bottles.
Walgreens last year passed out these stress-ball like things shaped like blue and white pills. My friends and I threw them at each other making the Dr. mario 'blip!' noise.
And a memorable one happened freshman year. My college is very anti-Thirsty Thursday. So imagine my surprise when Dominos was there, handing out drink cups, bottle-opener keychains, and pizza coupons.
