Literally!
We have a hot counter which had two panes of glass at the front which lift out from the top. Now they are not the easiest things to handle but we have been careful and they had survived the past couple of months since it was fitted at least until today! I had just finished cleaning the front of the counter (I'm short so it's easier to go to the front and clean) and was putting the glass back down when it slipped and crash! Thankfully I was stood to the side of it so nothing but my tights got glass in them. The aisle was empty so the customers didn't get harmed and co-irker was moving her car.
They heard it at Checkouts! Awesome Manager was killing himself laughing after he'd checked I was fine as was pretty much everyone in the general area.
Thank goodness I have ten days off now!
