  • Notes on a catalogue request

We send out catalogues, but being environmentally responsible, we only send them out to people who actually qualify for them. You know, not just for people to read. Not everyone sees it like this. We usually only send one out to a food group or retail outlet, since they really only need one, and it's hacking down trees to make them feel good and line their hamster's cage etc.

When we fill in a price list request (PLR) fom someone new, we're supposed to get a little extra information - chat to them, find out what sort of business - and rate it for the area's account manager to see if they need to follow it up. We have a comments section for this.

    From yesterday:

"Claims not to have an existing account, yet also claims to have bought things from us last week. Claims to have called three times and emailed twice since the start of the week. Suspect she worships the elder gods, probably Cthulhu. D"

I'm glad they don't get to see these comments...

When we first opened, we got a letter asking for us to send them a catalogue. Which ofcourse we didn't have. The main owner, was pissed about it, and saying that we are being sabatouged. Hell the main owner, is always thinking, that someone is talking shit about the company. Well if we had more products that the customer' like, then we would be doing better, then what we have been.

That woman is obviously trying to find out which tactic will get her what she wants.

      That last comment was funny.

While they should be grateful that they don't get to see what's said/written about them, it gives me great joy.
