Thanks for the support lol, now that I do think of it here have been 2 or 3 Sci-Fi originals I did enjoy. Raptor Island, Frankenfish, was Dragon Wars a Sci-Fi original? I will take some cookies from EQ lol

Here, hold this hydrospanner while I use the sonic screwdriver to tune the dilithium crystals in the flux capacitor to resonate at the optimal frequency.
      *swoon*

Toss in a 42 reference, and I'm all yours.

Do you know where your towel is?

I do. It's hanging on it's peg in the bathroom.

But then, I'm a Horror Greek, so I can enjoy bad movies. ^^...
Yea, but you aren't really a horror geek until you've seen Ju-On (1&2,) Gin-gui, and the Great Yokai War. (And no, the American versions don't count.)

I've seen the 2 Ju-ons, Ringu, and the Korean version of Ringu. How many points is that worth?

                You're one hoopy frood!

Gotta ask though: do you have a nutrient or no-nutrient towel?

I think I'll join in and fly my geek flag, as well.

Do not be afraid of being a geek, no matter what.

That being said, I'm a hockey fan as well, so I suppose I'm proof that a geek can like sports. And, since I played for much of my life, I suppose a geek can even play sports.

Seeing the Korean version of Ringu = instawin.

In all fairness WoW has 0 geek cred. ;p

I know people that play WoW that can barely turn a computer on. Normally they call me to ask how to turn a computer on to play WoW.

Which leads me to one of my geek flags:

If your coworker's mom's computer breaks down and she gives her mom your number. ><

I thought it was implied. After all, everyone knows that dilithium crystals have an optimal frequency of 42 microHertz.

I'm a geek, with strong nerd tendencies as well... degree in Classics, bookshelf full of science fiction (I went straight from "see Spot run" to Robert Heinlein, and don't think THAT doesn't twist a person!), tendency to take things apart to see how they work, obsession with LOLcats, but I don't seem to have the game switch in my head. Don't know why.

                            Welcome to Geekdom!

Personally, I'm a RPG geek (both tabletop and pc/console), webcomic geek, and sci-fi geek.

I can't wait for new episodes of Eureka - although I consider Eureka "soft" sci-fi. It's a crime show with technobabble solutions.
"I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."

I LOVE technobabble! Especially when tossed off at top speed by a skinny guy with a pinstripe suit, hightop sneakers, and adorable glasses! *goes all swoony over the Tenth Doctor*

                              Raxacoricofallapatorius!

No...I'm not a geek...why would you think that?
