Well, we had even more big fun at the fabulous Looneyland today.
I came down from lunch at 2:30, and I heard sirens. Lots and lots of sirens. Fire trucks, ambulances and police cars.
And then the sirens stopped...right in our parking lot.
It turned out that there was some kind of electrical mishap in town, which caused the mall attached to my store to lose power. My store still had power, because it is fed from a different line or something. Anyhow, this was enough of an emergency to require just about the entire fire department to come by.
At first, I thought there was a gas leak, because there had been a construction crew ripping up the pavement in front of Radio Shack in order to redo it, and I thought they might have hit a gas line.
Quite a few of the workers in the mall came and hung out in our store. A couple of people from the sub shop even hung around around the entrances and acted like greeters.
It was pretty hectic. The store manager though, seemed to be a bit more worried that he couldn't take his smoke break in his normal place.
