People always thing everyone else is just like them.

Guy thinks his wife is cheating? He's probably cheating on her.

Guy thinks you're scamming him? Probably a scammer.

Never trust someone who is convinced that you are out to stab them in the back. Because they are 9 out of 10 times looking for a chance to stab you in the back.

Not always the case, but a good rule of thumb.

If you want to know all about someone, just listen to how they talk about other people and they will tell you all about themselves, without even knowing they are doing it.

That's one reason my family was scared of another relative -- he thought we were going to try and steal his personal account info to run scams, burn a place down, and collect the insurance money.

Know what he did? Stole our personal info, stole our property, sold our property, ran scams, (didn't try the arson fortunately), and stole insurance money by using our personal info. So glad we don't have to acknowledge him ever again.


And here I am assuming people will be honest, do the right thing, and make sacrifices for the betterment of humanity! Yeah I end up getting screwed a lot.
