The university where I work at was closed for winter break from 12/23/08 to 1/4/09.
I returned to work today, & the full sign was on in front of the Visitor Parking garage. Why, I do not know. The garage was not reserved. Only one parking spot had to be reserved. So I leave "Kim" & "Melinda" voice mail regarding this. Some people asked me if the garage was full. I told them no, it was open & that they could park in the garage. They were confused & so was I. Campus parking eventually changed to full sign to open.
Then the staff members having an access card to exit Visitor Parking garage could not exit because their card would not work. I had to use the remote to let them out.
The good thing is that the full sign did not change to open when I let someone in with the remote. I hope the problem is fixed. That would be great since Spring semester begins in a couple of weeks, the first week is a zoo, & many people park in Visitor Parking the first week.
