Don't you just hate the people who shop for a free rental?
About a week ago, a guy came through my till a set of these fancy wrench dealies that work on all sizes of nuts. They were 60 bucks, and he asks about the return policy, because "he just needs it for one thing, and if it doesn't work he's gonna return it." 90 days, keep the receipt, whatever. But for what he was using it for (a nut), the thing should have worked. But I know what's gonna happen. He's gonna loosen the nut and return it...
Fast forward a few hours, and I'm loading up a cart to put back returns, and guess who I see. The customer service worker tells me to "take this because the guy is returning it too."
Wooo... free rental
And to make things even better, the item was in lockup, so I had to hunt a hardware guy down and borrow their keys to put it back, because I don't get keys when I'm putting things back...
