ugh. Changing jobs...

I gotta change jobs sadly.

With the new law saying that Charity Casinos do not have to go Smoke Free in January, and my health already declining from a month and a half of inhaling secondhand smoke, I just can't do it.

It SUCKS. I love this job, it pays great (With tips, about 17/hour)...

Course its not just the smoke that's the problem, but the hours - I get off at 2 am. Trains and busses stop at 12-1:30. They start at 4 am (6 am on sunday mornings). Meaning I spend 2-4 hours sitting in a Humpty's every night.

I love this job, dont get me wrong, but the hours and smoke are killing me. I have no time to spend on my hobbies and I sleep all day when I get home.

Stupid selfish smokers. Dont get me wrong - they can poison their own lungs but why do they have to ruin MY dream job just so they can stick a burning twig in their mouths every five minutes?

Grrrrr.

i share your sentiment
i cant deal with smokers sometimes even after their done smoking if their breath is still smoky
i wish more places were smoke free or at least had areas to smoke in or areas that were smoke free and had ventilation

I can deal with the breath, as the table keeps it away from me unless its' REALLY strong.

But the breezes in the casino can send smoke right into my face.

The hours really suck too.

PS - I thought you were my mom for a moment as she uses that screen name on places, heh.
