Well, I got a new job.
It's for a collections agency. My sister just got a job there and recommended it to me.
I get paid more, it's closer to my house (try 3 minutes), I get paid more, and eventually if I say I make commission.
The place seems really nice, the people were friendly, the office was open and inviting (the radio was playing and people seemed relaxed at their desks), there's no dress code (except on days when clients show up, and even then it's only business casual).
Plus I get to work with my sister!
Sure, it's not a dream job, but it's loads better than what I've been doing. I'm putting in my two weeks notice tonight.
