Yesterday, a customer came to the service desk to return and buy some stuff. I saw that she paid with a gift card so I asked for her gift card which she had. I did the return first and put that back on the gift card. Then I did the sale and that was put on the gift card.![Smile](https://www.customerssuck.com/board/core/images/smilies/smile.png)
The customer was confused by the amount and mentioned that the employee who checked her out earlier told her the amount that was left on the gift card. I pointed out that the employee probably misread the receipt which can happen if the ink is faded and hard to read and that it's a good idea to double check the receipt and I eventually got through to her that the amount on her current reciept was correct.
