I'm a freelance writer. I have been writing for a software developer about their products for the past few months. This makes them my customer.
My current project for them is write 10 500 word articles about their company.
Sounds easy right?
Well it would be if I had the needed information. I have been able to get about 4 of these articles out while waiting for them to get back to me with the release date of their first program. This is after they give me a press release that has less than 200 words to work with as the information to draw from to write the 10 500 word articles.
I asked for more information and got a "Thats pretty much it!"

If I hadn't been writing about their products and done a biography series of articles on the CEO/founder I would be up shit creek for this project.
