Every quarter, my org puts out an online newsletter. It's actually pretty good, and it's my department's favorite project to work on since we have almost total creative control over it. When the newsletter is uploaded to our site, we send out an email to all paying members letting them know that it's there. Along with writing the majority of the copy for the newsletter, I also write this email.
The new issue of the newsletter went up, and the email went out. This morning, one of our former Marketing consultants sent us an email that said:
"Really, really nice announcement. It captures my attention, builds on your history and legacy, and has a nice call to action. Well done."
