So I'm scheduled for an extra long shift today to try and maximize profits from the day before Easter. I sell flowers strictly on commission, sure there is a 'base' salary but if you cannot sell enough to go over base you are gone very quickly here.

I take two orders and the phone system goes down. It's still not back up and management refuses to release us. For me this is extra stupid because I'm working from home today. So here I am, on their dime, doing all my Easter cooking while the phone system is completely knocked out. Fun, fun, fun...
