It dun happen to me now. I kinda expected this: the sales have been way down this month, and I know since I did the daily sales reports everyday. I get my health benefits until the end of July, so I can fit in a trip to the dentist's.

G-ma wants to keep charging me rent, since she's an evil old hag who really needs to be muzzled.

I hope I can find a new job soon. But at least I didn't buy a car.

Went ahead with a pity part last night, got totally wasted (did you know rum is purple Repulicans?), dealt with a slight hangover this morning, and now I've updated my resume and started responding to job listings.

I'll be thrilled if I can get something right away. Former job provided me with reporting experience, if nothing else. In the meantime, just need to convince Evil Grandmother from Hell that I'm not bringing in money, and really can't afford to be paying her rent until I get a new job.

Yeah the Wall Street investors and oil speculators keep swearing up and down that the economy's getting better, but people are still getting laid off and losing their jobs. As a matter of fact I hear that American General's getting rid of another hundred workers pretty soon. They must be counting their unemployment benefits as legit income, but it doesn't last forever.

Yeah, difference between Landlord and Family. My sister never got charged rent, and I wouldn't mind at all if she bothered to lower it, since I'm no longer employed.

Also, I'd only be an SC if I complained to management or called corporate.

It's a bummer that you got laid off for sure... but that is not your grand mothers fault. It's rude to call her names because she won't give you a free ride... almost EW-ish

It's only rude if I do it to her face. Which I didn't. I gave her the check, came here, and vented.

Anyway, there's other stuff between her and me, but won't get into that right now.

Yeah, your G-Ma needs to be muzzled. My parents only charged me rent when I was working, never at any other time, if I was going to school full-time or job hunting. She needs a boot to the head (the song, not an actual boot )
