Busiest night EVER!
About 5pm someone called and said that a football team was going to be in in about an hour. And to expect about 150ppl. We can seat roughly 200ppl. If every chair was full, there would be enough for 200. Well, 150 turned into about 350, plus our usual Sat. Night crowd. There were no table, no chairs. People were STANDING around eating. There was barely room to stand. I couldn't hardly get through the crowd. I had a crew of 5 people, + me. And people for the most part were cool. One lady pissed me off, and I snapped a little. She was asking where her order was, why it was taking so long, etc.
My response "Do you SEE this lobby? we're packed. It'll be out as soon as possible."
Oops. Not very proffesional of me.
We actually broke a record:
Most sales per a hour EVER at out store: 900$ an hour.
Last night we did a 1,500$ hour.
I was so proud of my crew. They were awesome. Kept their cool, and just did the best they could. All I can ask for.
Ahh, needed to gripe. Feel better now.
