It's been a while since I talked about the guy, but he hasn't gone away.
About 2 months ago, Bob stepped down as manager. He still works with us, but he's a seasonal lead. We do have a new manager, I think she's going to turn out alright.
Anyway...
I was coming back from lunch when I heard this:
Bob: I couldn't find your receipt with this credit card. Is this even activated? It still has the sticker...
SC: *mumble*
Bob: I'm telling you, without a receipt, you will not exchange this.
SC: I don't need a receipt!
Bob: Don't argue with me. If you don't have a receipt, we're not going to exchange this!
SC: You should talk nicer to me!
Bob: You talk nicer to me! It goes both ways here...
At this point I walked away. I know she didn't get her way because Bob felt great.
