    I was just curious about sill/stupid scripts you may have encountered as a call center employee or in calling or speaking with a call center.

    I think one of the dumbest I have run across is this:

    I think this is Sprint but I can't recall off the top of my head. In any case when they call me at my job, aka another phone company, to take care of a number port at the end of the call they have to ask me if there is anything they can help me with.

    I'd like to know what brilliant mind came up with that. In general, at another call center, I am not going to need the help of someone from another company (a competitor of ours no less) on a regular basis. And even if I did, I'm not likely going to be anticipating a call from them just to take care of it.
