So christmas gifts are being given out by the cinema. They are a bottle of water and a bag of mint humbugs. Placed in a kids combo bag with a sticker that says 'Wishing you a merry little Christmas.'
The humbugs and water are left over from the last opera screening we did, where our marketing guy decided to offer free water and sweets. Of course this meant the customers didn't come out at the intermission to buy food and drink - not well planned out.
So I guess the GM is getting rid of the excess, so it doesn't happen again.
