I put in my two weeks notice a couple of months back. Sunday the 20th is my last day. That's tomorrow. I've been hating my job (read: co-irkers must die!!!) a lot and am ready to move on. I've been here for nearly 3 years and I feel like I have accomplished absolutely nothing as far as career/education goals since I started here. So I'm going back to school in January to get my degree in business management and veterinary technician degree. I want to open my own animal related business... possibly in Oregon, hopefully in the next 5 years. Anywhozits, I'll be working part time as a security guard for my old company. I'll probably have plenty of stories to tell of asshattery, so this isn't goodbye. Wish me luck, cuz I think I'll need it.

Wooo! Thanks guys. It's my last day, I'm definitely excited but nervous. I cleaned out my mailbox and stuff. Weird feeling. It's kinda like moving, whether or not ya liked the place, you still have to stop and have one more look around the place to say your goodbyes."I'm working for popcorn - what I get paid doesn't rise to the level of peanuts." -Courtesy of Darkwish

just 30 minutes left... If I wasn't nervous before, I am now. I was listening to that song "Help I'm Alive" by Metric and I totally relate to, with the "heart beating like a hammer" and the "they're gonna eat me alive if I stumble" business. I don't adjust well to change, pppppaaaaaannnniiiicccc!!"I'm working for popcorn - what I get paid doesn't rise to the level of peanuts." -Courtesy of Darkwish
