I'll be the first to admit that our way of pricing shoes is unusual. It involves writing a number and letter on the bottom of the shoes (aka 6B). The price is therefore $6 and it is a blue tag (important if the color of the week for the discount is blue.) The cust in question is complaining "OMG the pricing of this shoe is so confusing. I don't understand it at all!" (in a whining tone of voice the whole time.) Her daughter (probably 6) turns to her and explains our pricing system to her 100% correctly. Yet she still says "It's so confusing I can't figure it out!" Now I can understand our pricing can be confusing, but if a young kid can figure it out easily, it cannot be that complicated of a system (and no offense was meant to the smart kid.) It was all I could do to stop myself from saying "Ma'am, just listen to your daughter explaining our pricing to you. Because she has got it!" Sheesh.
