Perfect Timing!
Had a busy day today. Lots of hirings and firings. Well, two firings and only one hiring.
It's been a long time since our company produced new training videos, and several SOPs have changed since then.
I had our new hire do all the paperwork, and I set him on the training videos while I did my bank run. On my way back, I picked up the mail. There was a package from corporate.
Guess what was in that package?
If you guessed new training videos, you'd be right.
I was stuck in a crazed, maniacal laughter over the irony of it all, so Other MOD showed the mail to our New Hire and broke the news to him.
NH:
"You've gotta be kidding me! For real?!?"
We all have to see the new videos (I'm bringing popcorn!). If our poor new hire had waited until after my bank run to watch the videos, he wouldn't have had to sit through the old, boring, now-obsolete videos. Alas, Fate had other plans.
