Unemployed again
Yeah, I lost my job. I came in today, and worked like any day, when I remembered I needed next week's schedual. So, I ask the manager...
"Um, yeah...Today is... your last day."
Great. The way the store hours were allowed, my manager could keep NONE of the holiday help, she wanted to see if she could keep us on for another week, and see if she could work something out, but no... As it is now, all NON managers, (Manager, Assistant Manager, and Third Key) are going to be working one day a week ANYWAY.
This sucks out loud, so at the end of the day I ask her to keep my number in case anything opens again, and she says sure, and if I need her as a reference I could call her for the information. Thats nice.
Wouldn't it figure? I work a year and a half at Radio Shack and hate EVERY second of it... I finally get a job I enjoy doing, and I get canned in two months.
