*sung to the tune of "Pants On The Ground*
So, we're still on required overtime, and last Friday, I only covered a couple of breaks, and then trained the rest of the time. Which isn't a huge deal, because I will take any training I can get, and other people have proven more helpful than those on my shift, but overtime is for production, not training. It's meant for keeping shifts better staffed and getting more work done. But there's hardly any work to be done.
But, oh, the work is coming! Any day now, the bottlenecks in the other parts of the factory will break and the work will be coming!
Until then, we just stand around with our fingers up our butts, walking all over one another and in each other's ways.
