(Mods: wasn't 100% sure if this should go in GWC or Sucky customer...)
I was cleaning the fitting room out today and basically found an entire week's pay sitting on the floor. (I don't want to give an exact #.) It was three digits, though. I could work a 12 -14 hour week (which is the typical amount right now b/c of cutbacks) and make that amount of money.
The fitting room stall was absolutely trashed. The girl or woman had tried on a ton of bras and dresses and just left them all over the floor and the hangers were tossed everywhere.
At first, I just picked up the money and stuffed it in my pocket because I thought it was just a couple of dollars. I was too pissed about the flippin' mess to go "oooh MONEY!"
Went home, cleaned out my pockets, and found this wad of money. I was very for a moment.
I already called the store and I'll be turning it in tomorrow. Maybe in a month, I'll get it if no one claims it. It just irritates me that someone can be so rude and careless. If they would have cleaned their mess up, they would have found all the money they left behind.
I almost wish someone would have come up and asked about it so I could be like, "Oh, was it in that stall with the HUGE mess in it? You know, with all those clothes on the ground and hangers tossed about?"
