So after work Sunday BF had to help make a Harlem Shake video to send to another store in their company as a "Neener neener we're better than you!" move. He showed me the finished product and all I can do is /facepalm.

A local restaurant that's pretty much cult status around here just posted a Harlem Shake video to YouTube a couple weeks ago. All I could do was shake my head in a non-Harlem way.

Could someone explain to me why this is so popular? I'm in my early 20's in the "target audience" for this thing, but damn--I just don't see the point in doing a "dance" that looks like someone having a seizure.

I remember doing stupid shit when I was a young CC, but when some of my younger workers wanted to make one of those videos, I pretty much said I'd kick their asses before firing them, and then kick their asses again once they were unemployed.
